Corporation Bank: Notice of all India strike by certain unions Corporation Bank has informed that the Bank have been informed by the Indian Bank� Association, vide their Circular letter dated February 06, 2013, that United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) consisting of nine national level unions/ organisations have given a call for a nationwide strike on Feb 20 and Feb 21, 2013 in support of some of their demands. Corporation Bank has informed BSE that the Bank have been informed by the Indian Banks’ Association, vide their Circular letter dated February 06, 2013, that United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) consisting of nine national level unions/ organisations (viz. AIBEA, NCBE, BEFI, INBEF, NOBW, AIBOC, AIBOA, INBOC and NOBO) have given a call for a nationwide strike on February 20, 2013 and February 21, 2013 in support of some of their demands. A section of the Bank's employees may participate in the proposed strike on the said date, if the strike materialises. In view of the above, it is likely that the normal functioning of the Bank Branches and offices may get affected. Source : BSE
