The agenda for the monthly meeting of Service Unions, for the month of February – 2012


Group C

Old Items:
2. De-quarterization of Masur and Halageri SO – the copy of the reference made to RO may please be furnished. As already the officials represented individually and as per your office minutes the matter has been referred to RO, the copy of the reference may please be made available so as to take the issue to RO level.
The present status may please be furnished since the matter is still pending.
3. Accommodation for Recreation Club at Haveri HO
Till date the matter is pending. The staff of Haveri HO is deprived of recreation since long, hence immediate action is sought for.

Old Items of December 2011:
1.     i) Since the PAs are not reverted, the matter is still pending and requires expedite action is sought for.

2. i) No individual systems are provided for Supervisors.

2. iii) Pending since the problem not yet set right. Please include that use of manual passbooks may lead to frauds and as such it is very much imperative that the Passbook Printers kept working and the usage of manual   passbooks may immediately be stopped in computerized offices.

5. Please provide one senior official to Halageri SO as SPM since the office is being run by junior official consequent upon the transfer of Shri M F Tumminakatti.
Please provide one senior official on deputation till the RT takes effect, since, the office is being run by junior-most official in hardship.
6.      Please provide i) one compactor to keep the records of Accounts Branch.  ii) Please expedite filling up of Accountant-II post of Haveri HO among willing officials if qualified accountant is not available.

7.     Please provide requisite computer chairs & tables to all computerized post offices at the earliest.

8. Please revert the deputed officials to DO to their Headquarters, since the Division is in acute shortage of hands. Since, even genuine leave cases including CCLs are being denied/curtailed on the ground of 'Shortage of Hands', it would be a positive and sportive gesture by the DO to at least revert the deputed officials to their respective HQs. It not only helps the operative side to give better public service but also curtails expenditure of Government money on deputation.

   Old Items:

1.     Still pending. The list of downward TRCA cases enclosed herewith for perusal, please.
The present status may please be furnished since the matter is still pending. Please include: It is learnt that, the TRCA of Shri G H Kadur was also revised downwards by the DO, but while regulating his pay consequent upon his CAT case, the downward TRCA is not taken into account; hence, the downward TRCA cases may please be revised in the light of case of Shri G H Kadur and the previous TRCA of those GDS officials may please be maintained.

Old Items of January 2012:

3. Please furnish details of GDS Officials whose TRCA has been reduced from January 2004 to June 2004 along with the copy of orders issued in this regard. Please regulate the allowances of those GDS officials as in the case of Shri G H Kadur, Doddagubbi BO, a/w Rattihalli SO.
The present status may please be furnished since the matter is still pending. Please include: It is learnt that, the revision of TRCA is in accordance with Chennai CAT judgment dated 29.07.2002 done as a onetime measure and not based on workload of Triennial Review. Please supply a copy of the judgment and not considering the same while regulating the pay of Shri G H Kadur. Also it is requested to furnish the details on not protecting the pay of the officials. However, a list of GDS officials in the case is furnished herewith for regulating the pay in the light of the case of Shri G H Kadur.

New Items:

4. Please furnish the details of GDS officials who availed prefix/suffix in conjunction with paid leave from January 2006 to till date.

5.  Please revise TRCA of 1. Shri G V Vaidya, GDS MD Hangal SO 2. T M Goudar, GDSBPM, Belgalpet BO.
